Most shooters, as well as most of the other craps players at the table, will bet the pass line, as it is the basic wager of craps. The pass line wager is an even money. Craps is a popular game, which is played both offline and online. Moreover, the rules of craps in Las Vegas may be different from the ones in online or street version. The above-mentioned guide just explains the basic principles of the game. As for variations you can find on the web or in land-based casinos, here are the most popular ones. Once a point is made on the first roll or a come point on a succeeding roll, you may.
Basic Casino CrapsIf you've never played Craps before, here is a basic explanation just to get you started.
In a casino, Craps is played with two dice on a special table, and players bet on the outcome of the numbers thrown. The player throwing the dice is known as the shooter. Other players may place their gambling chips on the table's layout and win or lose according to the numbers thrown by the shooter. There are a number of betting spaces on the table's layout but if you're new to the game, don't worry, you don't have to know all of them.
Basic Craps Rules Chart
The shooter must first make either a 'Pass' or 'Don't Pass' bet (explained below). He then throws the dice. This initial throw is known as the come out throw.
If he throws a total of 7 or 11 this is known as a natural and any player who made a Pass bet immediately wins.
If he throws a total of 2, 3 or 12. this is known as craps and any player who made a Pass bet immediately loses.
Any other total thrown is known as the player's point and he continues to throw the dice until he either throws his point again or he throws a 7.
If he throws his point first this is known as making the points and any player who made a Pass bet, wins. If he throws a 7 first this is known as a seven out and any player who made a Pass bet, loses.
If the shooter throws a winning combination for a Pass bet, the dice are said to pass. If the shooter throws a losing combination, the dice are said to miss.
So if you place your chips on the Pass Line betting space before the come out roll, you win with a 7 or 11 on the come out throw or if the shooter makes his point. Winning players who make a Pass bet receive their wager back with an equal amount from the casino (odds of 1 to 1 or evens). The House edge against you on this bet is 1.414%. Not bad odds in a casino.
The Pass bet is the most commonly used bet on the table and is played by just about everybody. You could play this bet frequently and blend in with the play.
Basic Craps Betting Strategy
You don't have to bet with the shooter, you could bet against the dice passing. The Don't Pass betting space allows for this and you will have a House edge of 1.402%. Players who make a Don't Pass bet are also paid at odds of 1 to 1 or evens.
Note, on the layout that the Don't Pass bet bars 6-6. This is because betting against the shooter would give a player the edge. Remember, the odds of winning are slightly against the shooter. Bar 6-6 means that should the shooter throw a 6-6 the Don't Pass bet is undecided. It neither wins or loses and the player who made the bet may withdraw it or leave it to be decided by subsequent throws. Some tables bar 1-1 instead. There are greedy casinos who will bar a 1-2 . There are two ways to make this (1-2 and 2-1) and this doesn't double the percentage, it more than triples the house edge. Barring gives the casino or House the edge on Don't Pass/Don't Come bets. The casino's edge on a table that bars 1-2 is 4.40%.
Once a natural, craps, a seven, or the point is thrown, a new round is played, as before, beginning with a new come out throw. Play game and get real money play.
If the shooter sevens out, the dice pass to the next player, who becomes the new shooter.

The Basic BoneTracking class will take you through all of the information you need to know to be able to track and analyze your own rolls in BoneTracker, including the data entry page and the transition tabs. The Advanced BoneTracking Sessions will build on that and provide you with a personal analysis of 720 of your own rolls while taking a deep dive into your best dice sets for every number on the layout. Each of these sessions is limited to just TWO players each – four students for the morning sessions and four students for the afternoon sessions. The cost of these sessions breaks down as follows:

It’s hard to beat a weekend with old friends and new, fresh-from-the-Gulf seafood, including some of the best craps games in the country. On Friday night, conditions permitting, we’ll hold our traditional Meet and Greet Get-Together. We’ll hook up at a local Beachfront Bar to knock back a few, renew old friendships and make new ones.
Basic Craps For Dummies
If Covid restrictions prevent us from getting together as a large group we’ll break up into a couple of smaller ones and hit some of our favorite haunts. Hungry? We know some local joints that serve great bar-food, and if you want oysters that were reefed up in the Gulf that morning there are plenty of options available.
Afterwards you’ll be on your own to hit the casinos alone or in teams to take on the tables. But don’t be out partying all night and don’t blow the bankroll before you’ve even stepped into the classroom because Saturday morning Nate and I will have serious craps training on our minds.
Saturday’s class will take place at the local dealer school down the beach in Gulfport. This class will offer the best of both worlds. All attendees will have the opportunity for hands-on coaching from both Heavy and Nate. We both teach the traditional on-axis toss and both have the same objective – getting you the best, most profitable toss ever. Heavy’s primary betting focus is on right-side play while Nate loves the Don’ts.
